Artem Ficta is an avid lover of Eastern philosophy and metaphysics, and their stories tend to represent that (with Hinduism being the greatest influence in their work). Their favorite book is the Mahabharata, which was a large influence for the polygamy in Ring Spell. Exploring the psychology of a marriage of that kind in a formal and respectful way seemed intriguing, while also trying to make it seem ethically justifiable.
Anime and Manga have also been a large influence for Artem Ficta and their work, with Please Save My Earth and NG Life being two of their favorite manga due to their handling of the reincarnation theme.
